This policy explains what Accessibility Shield collects when you use the service and how that information is used.

Information we collect

• Account information such as your name, email address, and password hash.
• Websites, accessibility scan results, and feedback reports that you submit.
• Billing and subscription identifiers supplied by Polar. We do not store payment card numbers.
• Technical information needed to secure the service, such as session and request metadata.

How we use information

We use this information to operate your dashboard, run scans, deliver feedback and alert emails, process subscriptions, prevent abuse, and improve the service.

Service providers

Accessibility Shield uses hosting and database providers, a payment provider, and—when configured—an email provider. These providers process information only to provide their services.

Retention and deletion

We retain account and site information while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for security, accounting, and dispute handling. Contact support to request account or data deletion, subject to records we must retain by law.
