Fix guides / Links with no text

Links with no text

WCAG 2.4.4 / 4.1.2

A link needs text that says where it goes. When a link contains only an icon or an image with no alt text, a screen reader announces "link" and nothing else.

Usual suspects: social media icons in the footer, a logo that links home, a cart icon, and product images wrapped in links.

The fix is to give each one a name: alt text on the image inside the link, visible text, or a hidden label such as "Instagram" or "Home".
