Fix low color contrast in Shopify
Change the failing color once in your theme's color settings.

- In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes and click Customize on your live theme.
- Open Theme settings (the paintbrush or gear icon) and click Colors.
- Most themes use color schemes. Open the scheme your failing section uses and click the swatch for the text, button, or background color that fails.
- Type the passing hex code from your Accessibility Shield dashboard into the color field, then click Save.
- If only one section is affected, open that section instead and pick a different Color scheme that has enough contrast.
Text on top of images is a common failure. Add an overlay or a darker image setting in the section, or move the text off the image.
Check it: publish your change, then run a new scan from your dashboard. The issue should drop off the list.
