Fix guides / Page language not set / Squarespace

Set the page language in Squarespace

Choose your site language in the Site Languages (7.1) or Language & region (7.0) panel.

Checked against Squarespace's help docs on 2026-10-09. Menu names can change; the source links below have the latest steps.

  1. Open Site Languages (version 7.1) or Language & region (version 7.0) in your site settings.
  2. Choose the right language from the Site language dropdown. If there's a Localize website toggle, switch it on.
  3. Click Save.
  4. Text you wrote yourself stays as it is; this setting controls the built-in text and the language your pages report.

Check it: publish your change, then run a new scan from your dashboard. The issue should drop off the list.
