Fix guides / Page language not set / Wix

Set the page language in Wix

Choose your site language in Language & Region settings.

Checked against Wix's help docs on 2026-10-09. Menu names can change; the source links below have the latest steps.

  1. In your site's dashboard, go to Settings > Language & Region.
  2. Pick the right language in the Site language dropdown and click Save.
  3. You can also use Settings > Accessibility Wizard > Scan Site, then Set main site language under site-level issues.
  4. Republish, then view your page source and check that the <html> tag has the right lang value. If it doesn't, contact Wix Support.

Check it: publish your change, then run a new scan from your dashboard. The issue should drop off the list.
