Add alt text to images in WordPress
Add it once in the Media Library, and check images already placed in posts.

- Go to Media > Library and click an image.
- Fill in Alternative Text with a short description. Leave it empty only for purely decorative images.
- Images already placed in a post or page keep the alt text they had when inserted. Open the post, select the image block, and fill in Alternative text in the block settings sidebar.
- For WooCommerce product images, set alt text on each image in the Media Library (or from the product's image picker).
- Theme or page-builder images (logos, hero images) may have their own alt field in the theme options or the builder's image widget.
Check it: publish your change, then run a new scan from your dashboard. The issue should drop off the list.
